The campaign centers on a large interactive button labeled "Push for Joy." When members of the public press the button, the installation triggers a sensory sequence involving sound, lighting, and fog. Following the interaction, participants receive branded merchandise.
The activation is based on research commissioned by Gala, which indicates that one in three individuals seeks small, unexpected moments of happiness during the week. The study identified Monday as the least preferred day of the week. Merchandise items distributed at the event include flower bouquets, themed posters, and trolley coins.
Attendees can enter a competition for a holiday by registering with Gala. Sara Jolly, head of brand at Gala, stated that the campaign aims to demonstrate that minor events significantly influence daily mood. She noted that the activation translates this research into a tangible experience.
