The SBC Summit will introduce a dedicated Fintech conference track on 29 September 2026 as part of its Payment Expert Summit stage. The session will examine payment infrastructure upgrades, regulatory compliance and digital identity verification across the gaming sector.
The new track joins existing AML & Compliance and Crypto & Blockchain sessions scheduled for 30 September and 1 October. Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, stated that financial technology now affects every phase of the player journey, including onboarding, fraud management and responsible gambling measures. The program will present operational strategies for integrating these systems into existing platforms.
Conference Sessions and Industry Speakers
The opening panel, titled "From Click to Cashout: Building Reliable Payment Infrastructure", will address deposit and withdrawal system modernization. Sean Spiteri (Head of Payments, Eaton Gate Gaming), Ran Cohen (Co-founder & CEO, BridgerPay), Mariola de la Piedra (CMO, Grupo GELSA) and Kyle Wiltshire (CEO, TESTA) will outline methods for reducing transaction friction and improving processing speeds.
Subsequent discussions will cover market expansion and identity verification. The "Solving Payments at Scale in Regulated Markets" panel will feature Rudy Attieh (Director of Product, PGWay), Mark Watts (Executive Director of iGaming, Aircash), Olga Gunchenkova (Director of Payments, Flutter International) and Andrea McGeachin (Group CEO, Neosurf).
They will review approaches to maintaining consistent payment services across regions with differing regulatory requirements. The final segment, "Beyond ID Checks: The New Role of Identity in Gaming", will bring together Vasilije Lekovic (Vice President of Gaming, Trustly), Antony Jordan (Head of Payments & KYC, Oddset) and Mário Cardoso (Fraud & Risk Manager, Solverde.pt) to analyze the impact of pending EU AML reforms on verification procedures.
